HOLY CRAP! First day of school, and I'm already down $300 dollars JUST FOR BOOKS! Damn, that's probably the most I've had to spend so far. It would've been okay if there weren't like 10 freaking books for my Dante's Divine Comedy class (that's a book a week, preposterous!). Oh, and get this! For my Greek Lit class, I had to buy a $45 hardcover Greek dictionary and $46 Greek grammar (supposedly to last our entire "Greek careers"), but the actual text we'll be translating is in a $5 pamphlet. Ugh, kill me now.

Other than the big dent in my wallet, it's good to be back in Santa Cruz, the weather is fabulous.
