We're so cool, it hurts.

Oh the hilarity of Jo's posts. You seem slightly high/really rambunctious in your last post Jo. You alright?
So, I'm home. In Hayward, that is. I have been for a week and a half now, just about. It's been nice, save for the fact that I've spent far too long and worked far too hard to clean my room this past week. When I moved back two Fridays ago, I literally could not walk around in my room at home. I have no idea how I accumulated so much crap. With all of my college stuff and all the junk that was in my room to begin with, there was no free space whatsoever. And so I set out on a mission to make my room clean, allbeit rather cluttered [because that's just how I am.] A week later and it's still not perfect. But I can atleast walk around a bit, sit and work at my desk, and sleep on my bed. So yes, other than cleaning my room I have done a little of the following:
- hanging out with family
- going to Thriftown with Shara and Deanna
- frequenting Albertson's with Gina
- other assorted stuff

What I have on the agenda:
Wednesday - work at St. Clement's registration day to get much needed community service hours for Smittcamp
Thursday - go to Santa Clara with Shara and Will to visit Deanna and Jason, stay the night and come back on..
Friday - hang out at Santa Clara and then come home
Saturday - MY BIRTHDAY!! and I'm hanging out with family and/or Gina
Sunday - meeting for camp at Bronco's at 1pm and then my boyz David and Cody are coming to visit, mini birthday fiesta in celebration of me!
Monday - Steinhart Aquarium in SF and other assorted things, dinner at home
Tuesday - simply hang out, David and Cody leave in the evening ish

At some point, I have to inform Longs that I'm back and can work for the two weeks until camp. But, yea, I'm not too keen on doing that right about now. I'm still reveling in the fact that I am DONE with my first year of college - sorry to gloat, Deanna and Jo, and everyone else who's still in school. Overall it was a supremely fantastic year. And I'm looking forward to a spectacular summer as well, what with all I have planned.

'Tis all.
Love, Katie

Just got back from see Matrix Reloaded....HOLY CRAP IT WAS F***ING AWESOME, ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!! (sorry about the cussing, it was that good). But I couldn't believe it, they totally bit off Star Wars!!!! Mr. Smith ended up being Neo's father!!! Talk about being unoriginal!!!

JUST KIDDING

Go watch it!! And have a great week!

P.S. If you watch it, plan on watching it on a night/day it is okay to blow off your homework....because you won't be able to think about anything else!

So, wow. My first year of college is nearly over. All I have left are Finals this week. And actually, I only have one final to take, because in my other classes, it wouldn't affect me at all. So, this Friday, I am coming home for the entire Summer, however long that is.
While my first year in college was spectacular, I'm really happy that it's all over and I get to come home. I miss my family, my friends and I miss being able to take a shower without wearing sandals. And countless other things. So, yea, I'm glad that school is nearly over.
We had a four day weekend this weekend, due to Dead Days [the last 2 days of the semester are reserved for Faculty Consultation days and there are no classes]. So, on Thursday, I went to two End-of-the-Year parties. The first of which was at the President of the University's House with all of Smittcamp. And the latter was at my Communication professor's house with all 3 of his honors classes. It was cool to just hang out with friends and not have to worry about school and crap. Plus, my comm prof is an awesome person. I want him to be my third grandpa, honestly. Then, David, Sierra and I went to go see Cody's play "Much Ado About Nothing."
Friday, a bunch of us went to Visalia to visit with Kelly and Anne's families. We had lunch at Kelly's aunt's house and then got a tour of Visalia. Afterwards, we went to a Dressage show at DG Bar - where David bought his horse. I had a lot of fun and I thought it was all pretty cool, but others did not agree. Cody, Kelly, Anne, and Kyle were all pretty bored and sitting on stadiums made out of bales of hay wasn't great for Kelly's allergies. So yea, they left early to get Cody to his play and Anne stayed with David and I.
Today was a really lazy day. I got up at 11:30, went to brunch. I did laundry, dropped some film off at Longs and went to the grocery store. I cleaned my room a little but I haven't started packing at all. I don't want to. I like my room a lot and I don't want to tear it all apart. I'll have to eventually, but I want to postpone that time for as long as possible.

So yea, that's pretty much it. I have finals this week, but only have to take one test. I have to check my grade at 8:45 Monday in my Computer Science class and then on Wednesday, I pick up my Photography portfolio, which I'm excited to get back. I check out of my room at 11am on Friday morning. My dad is coming down to Fresno to help me lug crap back home and also to pick up stuff from my aunt and uncle's house.
In regards to my birthday, I don't yet really know what I'm doing. My only wish on the list is to be able to see everyone. I know that'll be difficult because everyone is still in school, but yea, I'll let you know. I might do something the weekend before with David and Cody - they are visiting again. And then somemore stuff on my actually birthday. I'll divulge more info when I have it.
Other than that, the plans for summer are, roughly, as follows - with no regard to dates and actual times:
CAMP
cleaning my room at home
visiting Deanna and Jason @ Santa Clara with Will
going to BFD with Gina
going to see some of David's horse shows - which I'm making atleast one of you go to with me
visiting and being visited by Fresno folk
TAHOE
working at Long's, much to my chagrin
chillin like villians with the crew in the Bay Area
relaxing ??

and soo much more.

Tis all.
