Regarding attendance on New Years: I'll be there. I work from 7 - 11 that morning, but that shouldn't really affect anything, right? If you guys are lucky maybe you won't even be awake yet.

Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!

I am finally in Hayward, and for good this time. That is, until the 3rd of January.
Here's my schedule, past and present:
Last week I had all of my finals. I think I secured an A in all of my classes, thus making my GPA still 4.0. I am such a genius. After finals, I did very little with my friends. On Thursday, we decided to walk around the campus late at night and it turned into a giant game of hide-and-go-seek. Next time, we're planning on breaking into teams with walkie-talkies. Very Mission: Stealth. Last Friday and Saturday was full of doing random things such as going to the antique store in search of old B+W pictures, giving the horse a bath, playing Age of Empires for six hours, going to pet stores. Saturday night, my family came to Fresno and we went out to dinner. Sunday, at noon-ish, I made a last minute decision to go the reunion as Gina and Jo have talked about [my apologies to Cody whose cookie party I bailed on on Saturday in Salinas.] I came back Monday afternoon and hung out with the family. Tuesday, my mom, sister, and I did some last minute shopping, which was horible because of all the crowds and traffic, etc. Wednesday, I had my Fresno Christmas. Overall, good times.
On a sad note, my cousins' tortoise that they have had for about a year and that they were going to give me for Christmas, is now dead. Which is making me second guess how much I actually want to deal with a tortoise, especially in the dorms, and considering I would have to go out and buy one now if I still wanted one. I'm still thinking it over.
Tomorrow is Christmas and I'm going over to my Fremont Ammie and Papa's house with the rest of my entire family. Friday, I will be recooperating. I don't have anything planned until New Year's when we're ringing in the year 2004 at Gina's new house. Jo, your plans for the making of dinner sound good, though we should probably go to Costco sooner than New Year's Eve day because of the crowds. Other than that, sounds A-okay. January 2nd, I'm going to be watching Ellie, perhaps do a whole lunch and a movie outing. Then, on January 3rd, I leave to go back to Fresno. Early in the morning on the 4th, the whole Fresno crew is going to Disneyland. Staying over [in a Disneyland Resort hotel, no less] and then coming back late on the night of the 5th. I'll probably stay over in Fresno one more night and come back to Hayward on the 6th. Then, I'm doing whatever until the 12th, when I'm going BACK to Fresno. School doesn't start until the 22nd, but I'm going to be reading the applications for next year's Smittcampers and I have to be back a week early. So, I'm going to be reading applications for about 3 days straight. Then, that weekend, I believe a trip to Yosemite is in the works, with Deanna, Ryan, David and whoever wants to join. Classes start on the 22nd. I'm not taking any extraordinary classes next semester, except for my Billiards class with Todd and David. That should be loads of fun.
Okay, for some reason I felt the need to type all that out right now. I'm not completely sure why, but I'm glad it's all down.
Merry Christmas everyone. Jo, hope you start feeling better. Don't let work take over and keep you from having fun, okay? And Gina, sucks you have to work on your birthday and I get to go to Disneyland. Haha.
I'll call you after the Christmas hoopla has settled down and we can hang out, go shopping, etc. Have fun, everyone!!

Merry Christmas Eve y'all! Wow, this must be the most posts we've ever done in a week long period...go me and Gina! and speaking of which, silly Gina, I can't believe you haven't gone to the frame shop yet. =)

I'm sitting around waiting. We have the Christmas party on my dad's side tonight, but not until 5 or so, and we're already done with the food and gift wrapping and stuff, so here I am.

Gina, I don't think the New Years dinner has to all fall on you, I'd feel really bad. I think we've mostly got it covered, right? Costco ravioli, salad, garlic bread, funfetti cupcakes, fruit? We should just make a food run earlier that day and then head to your house and prepare it. It will be fun, but yeah, if I'm missing anything, let me know what I can help with.

Have fun at your Christmas party (or parties) y'all!

Urgh. It was so hard to go to work this morning. This weekend was awesome. Basically everything that Gina said: fun reunion, hanging out with good friends, and "a great fucking breakfast to end it all" Amen, sista.

So I was telling Scott about New Years and he really wants to go, but he and his mom won't be going to Sausalito until January 2. Boo..he said if he went he wanted to help us cook. Oh well...we'll have fun anyhoo, right?

I'm going to go back those Funfetti (yeah!) cupcakes for my dad's side Christmas party tomorrow. Wish you guys could have some.

Apparently the family and I are going to Stanford tonight to shop. I'm excited to be going there, but not as excited that it's with my family, I hate to say. That's life, I guess.

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL OF YOU! Hope you get everything you want and more. Love you guys.

Hey hey...today is my last day at school. I'm packing and cleaning and such, and because I think my internet access might be a little limited at home, I just wanted to blog once more before I left for break.

I know I'll see you guys over break, but for the blog, I hope you all have a great winter break!

As much as I want to see everyone, I sort of don't want to go home because I really don't want to work at Macys this winter break...I'm getting tired of it. I guess I should be grateful I have a job, but you know how that goes. My first day is this Saturday from 6-3....that's 6 AM, mind you. Ugh, kill me now.

Anyhoo....I'll see you guys soon!!!!

I've tried. I really have. I just lack motivation. I have the time, I just don't have the right amount of energy it requires to post a more than half-assed update of my life. So, here's the half-assed version:

It's been about three weeks. Sad, I know. In those three weeks, I've done a lot. I really have. I type it out and it just seems so, blegh. Why on earth would you want to know what I did with David and Cody when. Because, really, I'll sum it up for you: We go to pet stores and talk [both at the pet stores and not]. Actually, David and I do that. Cody plays video games and watches TV. We eat. Eating at the dining hall is more social than anything and we go atleast once a day. Usually with our friend Jason as well.
We've made friends with some Smittcamp freshman: Todd and Janna. I believe that we have successfully recruited them into our little circle of friends.
Here are some highlights:
The month of November saw a whole lotta Fresno State students not shaving. It was called No-Shave November. Basically, the guys could not shave and the girls couldn't shave their legs, except for one time the entire month of November. Actually a lot of people took part, myself included it was about twenty people. That's a lot of hair.
Thanksgiving break was fun. I got to see all of my family members and a bunch of friends. It was nice to hang out and just...be there and not have to worry about school and such. Love Actually is a spectacular movie. Though it does make me mad/depressed that I don't have someone. Oh well. G-Dawg and I hit up PP and BK, like always. Regretably, we did not get the hot waiter, once again. However, on a good note, Baker's Square had my pie! I watched Life of David Gale with my family. It was a surprisingly good movie and it got me thinking a lot. It's all about the death penality and it has Kevin Spacey in it. It's worth it to rent.
Back in Fresno and it's back to the normal routine of school. I'm watching two movies in two of my classes: Swing Kids in Music and Seven Years in Tibet in Geography. I'm done with chem/physics labs for the rest of the semester, which I'm excited about. Oh and I signed up to be a reader of next year's Smittcamp applications. We're in about twenty teams of three: one student, one professor, and one administrator. We read a total of 40 applications, out of approximately 600, and make up to a certain, unknown as of yet, number of people that we select to be in Smittcamp. When all the groups combine their selections, it has to come out to 75 people. It'll be interesting, hard choosing people. It should be really humbling too, because these applicants will probably be so much better than I was at that age. However, I have to come back a week early from Winter Break.
We've decided we're going to see the third Lord of the Rings at midnight. Officially, it's opening November 17th, so we're seeing it at 12:01am. And we might wear hobit capes.
I bought a fish last night, to replace the one that died on Sunday. I haven't named it yet, though my friend Chris said Mr. Fishy McFisherson was a good name. I also have a snail now named Escargot.

This Friday, I'm going to Coarsegold all day to observed David's dad, who is a seventh grade teacher. I have to have 15 hours for my Special Education class. Then on Saturday, I have to get up at 7 to take the CBEST, a test for teachers before they enter the credential program. Sunday night is a party at the President of the University's house for Christmas for all the Smittcampers. Then I have three more days of classes and I'm off from the 11th until Finals on Monday the 15th. My last day of finals is Thursday, but I'm staying in Fresno until Christmas Eve because my family comes down here. I think I'm going to Cody's on Saturday the 20th for a Cookie Party with David, Todd, Jason and Janna. Should be good times.

Okay, I hope that satiates your hunger for the wonder that is my life. I'm sorry I don't post as regularly or as interestingly as I used to [if I ever did], I just haven't been up to the challenege lately. Hope everyone's having a good last few weeks of the year. Have fun!

Love, KT
