This may seem like a somewhat materialistic question, but I've been trying to find a good pair for years without success and thought you guys might be able to help me:

anyone know where to buy a good, not too expensive, plain (meaning no streaking, crazy trendy with bells and whistles) pair of grey corduroys?

And on that subject, on Thanksgiving weekend anyone want to hang out?

And also what do you folks want for Christmas?

That is all...Have a great day!

Hey Kate-

You can name and locate all the countries in the world????? Damn! I'm sooo jealous (seriously!). Is this because of that geography class? Tell me how you did it.

Have a good weekend everyone.

Okay, so I'm even more of a terrible person because I didn't follow through with the "post later today" promise. Just kill me now.
So I have been rather extremely busy as of late and I neglected Random-osity. Which is very sad, because just as I neglected it, it had been getting more action than it ever has gotten before. Thanks for picking up my slack, friends.

Now for the good stuff - which I will have to type out in ONLY 10 minutes because I have to go to class soon. I was just about to do a whole list of the highlights, but I honestly can't remember what the hell I've been up to. I mean, I haven't done anything huge [save for the matchbox twenty concert at the Savemart Center - Fresno's newest event center] but I have been non-stop busy. A lot of school work. I can know name and locate all the countries in the entire world!

Okay, when I think of more stuff I'll post it. I'm coming home this weekend for a quick jaunt. It'll be Friday night and Saturday morning spent with the family. And then SaturDAY and night I am available to do whatever. I want to see Gina's house and visit Baker's Square. Sunday morning I have to leave at 10 to be back in Fresno by 2 to do the CPR training I signed up for.

Well, crap, that was a shitty post. I swear, I've lost my touch or something. I promise to do ANOTHER post, a better post, later. Sorry.

I promise a post later today. I'm a terrible person for not having posted sooner, I know. I am such a hypocrite.

Coming soon, a REAL POST!

Love, KT

Can't wait to hear from Gina about the new place...I know you're probably really busy getting all settled though =)

It's been a tough week so far (a Lit portfolio due today and also had a test), so I rewarded myself by going downtown. I went to the farmers market and then Crossroads, one of those buy/sell/trade stores. I got some good stuff (a sweater for $3 and a nice button up for $6) and found out that this Saturday is their "Customer Appreciation Day Sale", and they're planning on having people (and I quote from the flier):

- groove to a live dj
- check out the special $1 rack and designer rack
- win raffle prizes
- free giveaway and grab bags

I got really excited...I immediately thought of all you guys...I don't really need to buy any more clothes but I was just remembering how much fun it is to go shopping with you guys. I wish you were all here.

Hope everyone is having a good week and getting enough sleep (because I've been sleep deprived for a few days now...), take care, love y'all! Hopefully see some of you Thanksgiving weekend?

Happy Friday!

Just came back from watching "Matrix Revolutions"...it was okay, amazing action sequences, but a little sappy at times. It was nice to go out and watch a movie though, I think the last movie I saw in the theater was probably "Bruce Almighty", so it's been several months. Mostly I've been watching movies out of Scott's collection, and I think I've seen almost all of them now except for the bloody war movies and the Rocky movies, neither of which I'm interested in.

Today in Scott's German class his professor played some German rap song called "Die Da" ("It's Her") by Die Fantastischen Vier (The Fantastic Four). He liked it so much he downloaded it, and it's really catchy and cheesy. These two guys are each rapping about this girl they've been taking out to the movies and stuff and it turns out they're dating the same girl. The only reason I'm mentioning this is because it reminded me of that French rap Katie used to listen to. I remember going to Borders with her once and she was looking for their album...was the group called Soleil? I can't remember.

Good luck to Gina with all the moving! Have fun decorating and such! And wait, you said you were talking w/ your real estate agent about Mrs. Radecke? How did he know, was he her agent too? Just curious.

I can't wait to see everyone...we need to hang out a lot during winter break, okay? Reading Gina's post made me miss doing stuff with you guys. We need to go to Stoneridge, have lunch/ dinner together, watch some feminine movies, and of course, catch up. I miss you guys.

Have a good long weekend everyone!

P.S. Don't forget I have a new screename: TheBigMommaJoJo. (See my previous post for explanation why). I know I'm not online a lot, but hey, it's good to know.

Hey Jake...I think it's cool that you want to get into mountain biking =) I think the lake you're talking about is Lake Chabot...during the summer I run there a lot with the MCHS XC team for training an have yet to go around the whole lake, but group of the guys did it once and they said its 13 miles all the way around. Very ambitious...but I think you could do it.

Good luck w/ buying a bike!

Whoa, crazy story Gina. That's so weird...I didn't think it was possible to do that, cancel a class for the rest of the quarter. I guess it's cool to get out earlier though. And wow, Ryan Supetran, that's a name I haven't heard in a long time. I was wondering what happened to him.

So Halloween was uneventful for me as well. It was freaking freezing here, so Scott, Windy, and I mostly felt like staying in. That, and we didn't know anyone who was having a party or anything. And we didn't want to get dressed up (actually I wanted to, as Darth Vader or as the M&Ms that we were in like 5th grade, but both are at home), so we just went out to dinner, played Scrabble, and fell asleep early. Woo-hoo.

Ooh, I just got a bike! My 8 AM class is a pain in the ass to get to because the shuttle buses aren't running yet and it takes about 25-30 mins to walk to...so I asked my dad to buy me whatever cheap bike they had at Walmart (it was $65) so I could get to class faster (my parents and Geng came up on Saturday with the bike and we went out to dinner...dude, can you believe my sister is graduating from 8th grade this year?????). I like it, it's purple and silver and very nice...I just tried it out today and got to class in 10 mins, and the ride downhill back to the dorm was fun. My dad was trying to talk me into getting a "quality" bike like this $200 Schwinn he saw, but bike and bike part theft is so prevalent here on campus that I think I'd rather be safe with a cheap bike. I'd cry if I had a $200 bike and someone did anything to it.

Alright, I'm going to try to get in a quick nap before Greek, everyone have a great week!
