We're so cool, it hurts.

So, I'm a little perturbed. Chuck-E-Cheese was very much full of 'good times' [I got 150 tickets and I picked out this mini Barrel o' Monkeys keychain.] It was good to see a lot of the camp folks, but, there was one slight piece missing from the equation adding up to my happiness. Yea, that's right. Casey himself. Where was he? No one knows. Probably hanging out with his Mormon girlfriend [I swear, it's against a Mormon law to go out at night and have fun with people other than your significant other.] It was/is downright unnerving. Here it is, potentially the last time I'm ever going to see him again [what with him going on his two year mission and all - spreading the Mormon love], and he doesn't come. Let me remind everyone that his last words to me were "Am I going to see you at Chuck-E-Cheese?" Well, apparently, that's a resounding "NO."
However, I did get to see a lot of people who I had missed in the last two weeks, shared a lot of laughs, snapped a whole lotta pictures, and, of course, the aforementioned winning of the mini Barrel o' Monkeys keychain, so it wasn't a total loss. Just a very large one.

I have FINALLY found a rubber ducky! I've been spending these last few days looking for a rubber ducky for my current sculpture project (sculpture #2 in a desperate attempt to finish three by friday for AP art...what the hell did i get myself into???) They just don't make duckies the way they used to! This one is relatively small and has funny wedge shaped eyes....i was envisioning something like the rubber ducky that ernie had on sesame street....kinda large and cute..

wow...just a comment to kate: you are very very eloquent when you type in your blog! and to gina: i hope things are better with you and tom....i'm sorry, i had no idea things were rough =/

nothing really exciting has been happening, so i'm sorry that my blogs have been a bit droll. The most exciting thing that happened to me today was at xc practice....two junior girls convinced me to run in the long group, so i ended up running 50 minutes total at coyote hills on the levee things in the bay...we made it halfway to oakland before turning around. When i got back i couldn't talk for about 10 minutes, i was so exhausted. Then coach wilder tells me that i should be running with the long group everyday from now on...GREAT.

ahh...must sleep...nighty yall

Here is the second post that was written later today, because I had just that much time.

This was written at 1:54 PM on Monday, August 27, 2001.
[nevermind when it was posted, that’s just when I got a
chance to get on a computer.]

Alright, so, the computer is still sucking beyond belief, but my emotional level has been lowered from that of livid [as in the prior post] to mildly aggravated.
But, I thought now would be a fine & dandy time to describe my weekend.
Once upon a time there was a girl called Katie. Now, Katie had what she described as an enormous and very together-type of family. They went on vacations together [grandparents and step-cousins alike] and once a year, they would all go to an A’s game together. It was always the game that had the fireworks afterwards and they always had at the very least forty people there.
Well, one year [see: this one-2001], a lot of other people also decided to go to the A’s game. And, well, everyone knows that you can’t save seats at an A’s game, so, as it turned out, there were almost four people in our family sitting in the stone aisle. Now, Katie’s family is slightly confusing and has it’s share of controversial couples [see: interracial marriages and lesbian lifemates] and many counts of odd ways of relating to people. Imagine if you will just pointing out a person, any person in Katie’s family, and asking, “How are you related to her?” Well, the answer might be something as drawn out as, “Oh, she’s my aunt’s husband’s daughter from his first marriage’s child, Alexandria.”
As it turns out there was a guy there around my age. Relation: My aunt’s friend’s boyfriend’s son. He’s sixteen, one of the few time that there’s been a teenage guy at one of our family functions. I didn’t really talk to him at all, and I don’t remember his name [haha Gina]. He wasn’t all that attractive and I didn’t even officially meet him until the fireworks part of the evening. Why, then, did I even bring him up? Because this guy was like, creepy. Okay, so, the fireworks are about to start and I tell him, being the friendly person, “Hey, you may want to find a bigger area because you’ll probably want to lay down to watch the fireworks. Otherwise, you may never be able to move your neck again.” He takes this word to the wise as a come-on or something and says “Well, how about this spot ::gesturing to the spot right next to me::.” I think I said something to the extent of no, that’s probably not the best place, because that’s where my cousin wanted to sit. He then proceeded to sit down. This guy’s comprehension skills seriously need work done on them. So, I pretty much ignored him and then, as the fireworks started, I reclined [not fully laying down, just reclined a little.] Tout d’un coup, [just thought I’d teach you a little French. It means ‘all of a sudden’] he reaches over and f’ing puts his arm around me. Now, reality check, I am surrounded by family members. I mean, literally, my grandparents are a few blankets over and my parents and sister are sitting right behind me. I shrug him off and shoot him a look of “what-in-the-hell-do-you-think-you’re-doing?” And scoot closer to my cousin on the other side and lay down [using my mom’s foot as a pillow], figuring even Mr. Smooth over here can’t put his arm around me if I’m laying down. Instead, he follows my lead of laying down and scoots closer. He’s putting the moves on in front of his father and pretty much, my entire family. Throughout the entire fireworks show he like, hits me; nudging me with his elbow, because you know, that’s what turns the girls on. As soon as the fireworks ended [and it was a pretty good show] I stood up and tried to make myself invisible from this would-be Smooth Operator. Apparently, my cover was for shit because he comes up and leans on me. I just felt like screaming, “I don’t even know you. I just met you about seven minutes ago and I don’t want to know you any more in depth than the knowledge of who your father is. So get the fûk off of me!”
But I don’t think my grandma would have appreciated my use of vulgar language in public, so I just twitched until he moved his arm. Overall, it was just bizarre. I’m just glad he’s not in my family so I won’t have to continue running into him.

Okay, fast forward to Saturday. It’s my sister’s birthday, but it also happens to be the day of the surprise birthday party planned for my great uncle’s seventieth birthday [it was a marvel to me that he didn’t collapse from a heart attack when everyone yelled “SURPRISE!”] It was an okay event. I only knew about thirty of the seventy or so people that were packed in my grandparents’ house. My cousins and I just withdrew into the spare room and watched Bowfinger. I met my 92-year-old great-great-aunt. My younger cousin, Amanda, was convinced that the caterer was a pedophile and therefore microwaved herself a TV dinner. All in all, good fun.
Afterwards, I went to the movies with Gina again. We saw Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back. Hysterical movie. I loved all the references to the previous Kevin Smith movies [which, if you haven’t seen, go, now, to your newest video rental place and rent the essentials – which, in my opinion, are Mallrats and Chasing Amy.] By the by, he is not overrated, Jake. Anyway, it was a good movie; no plot whatsoever, but hilarity at its greatest [plus, I love Brodie.] We ran into a friend of mine from camp, Patrick [Gina, you’re “good” for recognizing him from the time we saw him on BART going to the Warped Tour].
Which brings me to the topic of camp. Camp is great. It is simply the best place on earth [I don’t care what Disneyland thinks.] The people are wonderful and the kids are…tolerable. Basically, it’s this day camp that is held in week-long sessions for kids going into kindergarten to sixth grade. I volunteer there as a Junior Counselor [JC] and have been doing so for the past three years. I went to the camp [Tenderfoot and Potowatomi, look ‘em up] when I was a kid and I plan to work there for another two or three years. As I said, it’s just great. I love the environment. It’s not just the nature, outdoorsy aspect, although that part’s great [there’s this great creek in the canyon and all these nice campsites], it’s everything about camp. When you’re there, it’s all you can think about. For that week, you’re whole life is immersed in this other world. You can be whoever you want to be, an entirely different person than you are throughout the rest of the year. Everyone who works there has a nature name. I’m Flicker [it’s a type of woodpecker.] To everyone, all of staff and all the campers, I’m Flicker for the entire Summer. I can be outgoing and goofy and not have to worry about my peers thinking I’m strange, because everyone else is acting just as wacky, if not moreso. It’s wonderful [I think I’ve used the word ‘great’ more in this paragraph than in all of my other posts put together.] I love it. That’s why I’m so looking forward to seeing all my camp folks tomorrow at Chuck-E-Cheese. For that time that I’m there, with them, all the memories and feelings I got from camp will come back to me, and that, in turn, brings about this sense of euphoria. Camp is like a drug; I honestly get this natural high from it. It’s pretty hard to explain to and to understand for someone who has never been or experienced my camp.
So, that’s all folks. Until my computer is either replaced or fixed [ha!] my posts will probably be cut down in number and frequency, so, don’t despair. I’ll be at school soon, so I can misuse those computers for my own personal use.

Oh my good God. I am finally online. We ended up having to install AOL on my dad's laptop in order for us to get on, because the main computer is still...not running. Anyway, you'll understand all of this much more after reading the next posts [which, I'm sorry, are very long.] Have a nice day. I'll say "hi" to Casey for you all [hahahaha! maniacal laughter because I get to spend the day with the wonder that is Casey.]

This was written at 8:41 AM on Monday, August 27, 2001.
[ nevermind when it was posted, that’s just when I got a
chance to get on a computer.]

I am in technological hell. My computer won’t work and I don’t know why. My father doesn’t know why. And neither of us know how or what to do to fix it. I don’t even know if it is fixable. My solution [honestly] is to get a new f’ing computer. This present computer is notorious for breaking down at key moments in my technologically dependent life. The only thing that’s reliable about it, is that it is sure to break down at the very moment that it is to be printing out the essay that is worth 70% of my English grade or something of that ilk.

Saying this, I should’ve expected the current mutiny that is occurring. Last night, my dad [somehow and involving much use of obscenities] got the computer, in dos mode, mind you, to run ScanDisk. I went to sleep, hoping that I would wake up in the morning to a computer that, instead of beeping incessantly and whirring when I turned it on, would, in fact, smile at me and say “Katie, I’m sorry that I’m such a POS. I know that I have caused you much stress recently and I apologize. Here, push any key and I will perform any command you wish.” What did I wake up to instead? A note from my dad reading, “KT, [his way of spelling my name] I think the hard drive is fried – I will work on it tonight.” What the hell is that all about?
Please Lord, all I want to do is check my email, type out some simple assignments for yearbook, and post on Random-osity. I know my hopes may not be as important as say, the starving people in the Sudan, but PLEASE.
As of right now, I am here, at my house, with four children. Babysitting, once again. Not only are these my last days of summer but I am spending them watching kids that will only be satisfied if they are doing one or a combination of the following: (a) playing Nintendo64, (b) jumping on the trampoline, while body slamming each other, and (c) being obnoxiously loud. Now, let’s go through the options: (a) the boys arrive this morning with their N64 in tow, a stackload of games, and four controllers. They do not however, remember to bring the plug that goes into the wall outlet for power. So, that’s a no go. (b) it’s 8:30 in the morning. The trampoline is too wet with the morning dew to jump on right now. You even step on it and you’ll slide across to the other side because it’s so slippery. (c) Oh yes, that’s right. There’s nothing preventing this one.
So, imagine this: I’m in a house with four obnoxiously loud, yet somehow depressed children [I actually heard one of the boys say “Ahh man, do we have to go outside today?”] who have no choice but to be spending their last day of summer here, and are none too pleased. The only way to get out of that world, is to get onto the small, little world of the internet. Oh, but remember, your computer has gone kaput.
I’m typing this up on my dad’s laptop, because I have to do something. And to add insult to serious dilemma, I broke my nail this morning.
In this post, I had wanted to tell you about the few things I actually did this weekend [baseball game, 70th surprise birthday party for my great-uncle, and going to see Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back.] But I guess you’ll just have to wait.
Tomorrow I’m going to Chuck-E-Cheese for my friend’s birthday [she’s turning 23.] All of my camp folks will be there [I’ll explain the distinguishing factors between friends and camp folks in a forthcoming post.] I’m pretty excited. I mean, not only has it been a while since I’ve seen any of the camp folks, but it’s also been quite a long time since I’ve been to Chuck-E-Cheese.
I’ll just drown my sorrows in endless games of air hockey and Skee-ball. And lots of pizza, there’s always pizza.

Ahh...its nice to be sitting down. I just got home from Los Altos, where Erin Moore had her wedding reception. Carlos and Lionel Feliciano, and myself were helping out (I got paid a nice 100 dollars). My feet hurt, but I think its worth it. Everyone there was so friendly, and their house is AWESOME. I walked in through the back and went "God..i wish i could live here!"...there was a pool, this huge, expansive yard, and a beautiful house. That family has the hookups too...Erin goes to med school at Stanford, and her sis Megan goes to med school at Harvard. Their aunt is the admissions officer and xc coach at Notre Dame, so I cheesed it up with her (at the urging of many of their family members after I told them Notre Dame was my #1 choice)...The food was great too...the whole thing was catered by this junior named Jenna who goes to Mountain View (Carlos kept trying to get his pimp on...you know, when he walks up to a chick and goes "so...blah blah blah"....it was so obvious!)...and it looked so professional. I brought home some of the cream puffs, mini raspberry turnovers, and almond drops that she made for dessert. I dunno..it was one of those events where you just had to be there to get how fun it was....

Ahh...alright, I think i'm losing it..i'm sleepy and still sick. I just read through what I wrote and it sounds very forced. So I will practice proper wu wei and cut out. Perhaps there will be more tomorrow... Just to sum it all up, though, I had a great night!!! Nighty night now!

P.S. Bra sale at Macys....its Buy 2 get 1 Free....so go and take advantage of that!!!

Hey ya'll! Another addition to this random-osity online journal group thingy; it's me Deanna! I'm really glad that this was started, and glad to be a part of it. I could finally catch up with Gina informally, who I haven't seen or talked to in a long time! It would be cool if Noelley could get into this. Fellow random-osity members know who I'm talking about. Anyway, I'm Deanna, aka The Panic High chick. Seriously, I have these Panic Highs and I will go absolutely crazy if I'm stressed out. On the other hand, I can really be uppity and happy, especially at the first sight of a hot guy or anything that has anything to do with Freddie Prinze Jr. Sorry *Katie*, know you think he isn't cute, but he IS! We pretty much agree on every other guy. Heath, Joel, Wes Bentley, so many more!!!! I am definitely a romantic, love the sappy love stories and movies, love Togos, love Pepsi, better than Coke, Friends freak, and go to Moreau like Jo and Katie.
Tomorrow, or rather later today, in about 6 hours, I will be leaving for San Diego and L.A. I'm gonna visit some family, go have some last-minute fun before school starts on Friday ( AAAAARRRRGH!!!!! ), and even, dare-I-say-it look at some colleges. I hope I have fun. Actually, I'm gonna make it a point to have fun because all I have been doing this summer is work. So I am gonna have fun! Well, see you guys soon, I'll write about my trip later! Love ya'll,
Dee

Okay...Jo's an idiot... I was looking through all y'all's postings and I realized that I forgot to tell a bit about myself...so let me get this done before I move on any further.

So yes, my name's Johanna, aka Jo, Joey, Jo Jo, Madame President, etc. Senior and ASB (associated student body) President at Moreau Catholic High School. Have run cross country (XC) and track for 3 years and counting. My favorite subject would most likely be English. I still don't know whether I like to write or not, but from what I hear I'm pretty good at it. I do like to read, though. I'm also an accidental sculptor; I found out last year that I could sculpt.

I like all types of music, depending on the time of day. Ya know, slow jams for nighttime, jazz for stress, oldies for the afternoon, hip-hop when you're partying, and rock every other minute of the day (hopefully leading you to the conclusion that rock is my favorite genre??? Well, it is, if you're that slow.) I won't get into specifics, because I don't want random people e-mailing me hate letters because they don't like my music choices. Favorite colors are green and orange (close to lime green...not that forest green stuff...) I like to stay up late so my favorite shows are Dave Letterman's Late show and sexy Craig Kilbourne's Late Late Show, though I do like my occasional Will and Grace and Who's Line is it Anyway. Katie, Gina, Shara, and Deanna are still working on making me a Friends fanatic.

I'll stop now...I guess you'll learn more about me as you read my postings, since you learn the most about people when you don't expect it. So, once again...Good Night!

Hold your breath no more...Jo has arrived! Hellooooo to everyone...thanks so much to Kate for starting this thing and inviting me in...I feel very welcome and loved! And YES, I will most likely pour my heart and soul into this thing as my schedule will allow it. I've already loved reading everyone else's postings.

Anyhoo...so you've got this huge plate of yummy pasta and chicken in front of you. You're starving. You've been at school for 5 hours working on school related things and it's SUMMER, and all you want to do is it. A plate of scrumptious food is all you need right now. You lean in with the fork, eyes closed, and ready to inhale the delicious steam rising from the plate when...DAMMIT! You can't smell squat! And then you remember: you're sick, with a cold that has left your senses numb. That would be me right now. It sucks.

Thus explains why I am one of the last to post on Random-osity. I've been sick for a day or two and haven't felt like staying up past 8pm. But now I'm here, and ready to go! Tomorrow, I'll be going to Los Altos to help out this chick who graduated from Moreau in '95. She wanted three cross country people to help out, and she's paying us 25 dollars an hour. WOW...and I didn't even have to get a degree in anything! Furthermore, she called me and told me to feel free to bring a swimsuit; it's a pool party. She says that after we finish preparing the food and doing some grilling, we can hop in the water. Hmmm...I think i'll just sit and watch.

More on this tomorrow, after it happens. Until then, GOOD NIGHT! I'm ready to go dope myself up with some NyQuil ("the nighttime, sniffling, sneezing, coughing, aching, stuffy head, fever so you can rest and have a good morning medicine"....that is 10% alcohol! No wonder it knocks you out....)

Finally some peace and effing quiet...Today I'm babysitting my sister and 3 of our cousins [aged from 5 to 10] and I pretty much haven't gotten any down time until now. I just sent them outside to get some sunshine and fresh air into their body and some energy out.
Anyway, an update: Ghost World was really good. I dislike Thora Birch very much [she's a good actress and all, I just don't like her] and I don't know what in the world was wrong with Brad Renfro's upper lip [see the movie and you'll know what I'm talking about.] All in all, however, it was a really good movie. I think they should've focused less energy on Thora and more on the other actress, Scarlett Johannson. She was really good and I liked her character a whole lot better.
The Yearbook meeting went pretty well. We got a lot done and the staff looks like a good one this year. Hopefully, Yearbook won't take up too much of my life. My schedule's really busy this year [AP French 4, AP Statistics, Yearbook, Ethics, AP Economics, Anatomy, AP English, America in the 60's, & American Government.] Here's hoping that I don't have a nervous breakdown in the middle of my senior year at high school! Speaking of school, I go to Moreau Catholic in Hayward, California. And speaking of all my kick ass friends at Moreau, two of them are interested in participating in Random-osity. Let's hear it for Shara and Deanna!! [cue applause and roar of crowd] I'm excited that they're going to pour their heart and mind into Random-osity as Gina and I have been doing as of recent [we're still holding our breath for Jo's input - we love ya, Jo - .]
I went out to dinner with my parents, sister, aunt, and cousins last night. We went to this restaurant called Max's Diner. [It's got a great environment and good food. I recommend highly.] And, goodness, our waiter [Steven] was, for lack of a better word that still conveys his overall awe-factor, dreamy. His smile was intoxicating, too bad his ability as a waiter lacked [my dad asked for a Chicken Fried Steak, and somehow got served a Chicken Philly Steak Sandwich - granted it was pretty loud to hear very clearly, but still.]
Cherry Coke is really good. Commercials on the radio are not.
I'm going to an A's game tonight [baseball for our international readers - ha!]. They're going to do fireworks after the game, so we get to go onto the field and watch them. The whole family goes, from granparents on down to step cousins. We're a very family-orientated family. Which reminds me, tomorrow is my sister's birthday. [ Happy Birthday, Ellie!]
I should probably go get the kids out of the tree now. Wouldn't want them to fall and bleed to death [which, is impossible, by the by. Unless you cut both of the arteries at your femur, it is impossible to bleed to death.] bye

How I was able to get up this morning at 6:30AM is no small wonder. I have to go to a meeting for Yearbook today. I'm the editor-in-chief and I'm meeting with all my section editors. Can we say "fun AND exciting" (I miss ya Noelley). Anyway, gotta go. I'll post more indepth later, betchya just can't wait!

Wednesday, August 22, 2001

Christ. If anyone, ever, ever asks you to go to a meeting named The Power of Yes, say "No." Say "No," and then run, as fast as you can, in the opposite direction. Four hours I sat in plastic lawn chair at a table held up by boxes of detergent in the middle of a Long's warehouse. I mean, c'mon. I was wearing good pants; you could even say I got rather dressed up [business casual, I'd call it] to sit in a plastic lawn chair that still had the bar code sticker on it. It wasn't all bad, just kinda blegh. I learned some neat stuff [did you know that, on average, only 79% of people who walk into a Long's actually make a purchase?] met a few people from other Long's that are nearby, and got free candy, muffins, and beverages. It was actually altogether pretty bizarre. We had to say an oath [ "I promise to live the Long's Brand Promise, every day, in every way, with every customer" ]. We watched a video regarding the correct/incorrect ways to handle an angry customer. The incorrect way involved the cashier leaning over, yelling "READ MY LIPS" and wrapping his hands around the customer's neck [because you know you always see that happening at your local Long's.] We were also instructed to, if possible, address the customers by name, because it makes for a friendlier environment. In order to find out their name, we were told to check out their credit card, check, driver's license, prescription, etc. I don't know about anyone else, but I find it rather strange. I mean, (a) I don't like people I don't know calling be by name [I always panic and have to think "oh God, do I know them and not remember them? How do they know my name?"], (b) I wouldn't appreciate someone inspecting my checks, (c) how much of a friendly environment can be made when someone is butchering a hard-to-say last name? It's just bizarre.
Anyway...the meeting wasn't that bad, just I would've rather slept in. 'Nuff of that.

And now, it's time for some random facts of the day: #1 I heard recently that one of the causes of breast cancer is putting anti-perspirant on after shaving your armpits. Apparently, shaving pretty much just cuts open the pores so that when you put on your deodorant/anti-perspirant, all the toxins can just seep right through. It's only the anti-perspirant that has the bad stuff in it, the deodorant is safe. So either, be sweaty and smell good, or be dry and get breast cancer. Hmmm, decisions, decisions. I mean, this is only word of mouth stuff, I'm not saying I read this in some scientific discovery magazine. And it certainly doesn't mean that I should be quoted, whether it be in a scientific article or in friendly conversation. # 2 Lay's KC Masterpiece Barbecue Potato Chips are REALLY good in a Togo's #3 [turkey and cheese] sandwich.
Yea, that's pretty much it for right now. In a few hours, Gina & I are going to see Ghost World. Hopefully it'll be good. I haven't had much luck with movies lately. I watched The Princess Diaries a few weeks ago. I actually kinda liked it. It was one of those you-can't-help-but-feel-good-movies where the girl gets the guy and her own country. I also, reluctantly, saw American Pie 2. It was a funny movie, no doubt about it. But the first one was a lot more raw and honest. They tried too hard on the second one. I rented American Psycho a few days ago, because a friend of mine [Will, not Brian, Gina] read the book and liked it. Well, the movie was...crap. And my opinion of my friend was slightly lowered now that I know that he likes books that are about men who like to hire random prostitutes and then disect them, kill old women, and keep heads in the freezer. Anyway, back to Ghost World, I'll let ya know if it's any good.

By the by, coming soon: a little section with some full-out bios of Gina, Jo, & I. Everything you want to know and more about the coolest people in the world [read: us.]

Tuesday, August 21, 2001

So, depsite her better judgement, Gina has decided to, in fact, contribute to this project o' mine. Let's all [all = the 2 people who are actually reading this..."2 people" = me & gina] give her a round of applause!!

So, big plans for tomorrow:
I have to go to a meeting for work regarding customer service. "What is the name of this meeting?", you ask. "The Power of Yes." It almost seems like it's a convention on submission vs. domination. Oh well, I get paid for it. Apparently the customer service our company has to offer has diminished in recent times. I work at Long's Drugs, by the by. It's a cool place, great discount! I once bought aloe vera gel that was regularly priced at $6.99 for a mere $2.54..NO LIE. So, anytime you find yourself in the need for aloe vera gel and quick, come find me and I'll hook ya up.
Other than that, Gina & I are going to see Ghost World. Which stars the one, the only BRAD RENFRO. I used to love that boy soo much (as much as humanly possible for a twelve year old who had never met him, that is.)
Anyway, I have to go. Time to make some half-assed templates for Yearbook that I told my advisor I made a week ago.

GASP!!
Katie has a blogger? You better believe it, baby!
Quite why, noone knows, but...I do.
Lately, given the fact that I've been bored off my ass, I've spent a lot of time online reading other's scribbles and blogs. So, what better thing to do with my overabundance of time than to start my own. Now, before you think it; Yes, I have taken into consideration that I don't have all that much talent in the area of the written word, not to mention that I can't spell to save my life. Which is why I've chosen to include a little disclaimer: I make no promises as to how interesting this here blog is going to be (although if this intro is representative of what's to come, I'd have to go with "Not at all".)
It's basically going to be a what's-new-in-my-life type of deal. It's more for posterity than anything else. I just want my life documented somewhere, anywhere. Other than daily occurances and events, I'll probably include some random thoughts and feelings about the world as I know it.
In an attempt to make this more than just an online diary, I've employed the "help" of my buddies, Gina & Jo (whom, as of yet have not confirmed their active involvement in this). I figure then, even if this fails as a documentation of my daily life, it will atleast be a spot where my friends and I can communicate (because, God knows e-mail just doesn't hold as much excitement as it used to.)
Either way, there ya have it.

In Summation:
I'm new at this.
Don't hold your breath in anticipation of greatness.
"Watch, learn, and don't eat my cookie."
