We're so cool, it hurts.

I am exhausted. I just want to sleep for 14 hours, maybe a whole day. I've been working non-stop, and though it is fun, I'm just so dead tired. Last week was camp, my last week with the little kids because I have the older camp for the rest of the Summer - this week included. Those little kids are adorable, but it's easier to relate to the older ones.
So, Katie's Weekend = work and a little bit o' fun. This weekend, I worked both Saturday and Sunday for a total of 18 hours. Saturday night was a failed movie night with Jo and Shara that turned into going to a party at Roger's?? Eh? But yea, Roger's party: "What a blast!!!!" she said sarcastically. It wasn't that bad, just not much going on. We watched Swordfish and a little bit of The Way of the Gun. And then Driving to Milpitas played. Basically, it was just cool to see Moreau folks. All the seven that went, that is. That's not a diss to Roger. [This is completely random and not at all related to my weekend except for the fact that it happened on Saturday, but, anyway: In Roger's garage, there are a lot of boxes, and they are marked with what's in them. One entire box was marked "Danny's Marbles" - Danny is Roger's brother - A HUGE BOX FULL OF MARBLES!?!?! It was great.]
I only have about three weeks left of summer. This week is camp and then I leave on Friday night for Tahoe. I come home from Tahoe on Saturday the 10th of August. And then another week of camp. And then I leave for Fresno on the 20th. My room is still not clean, I am not at all packed for college, and I am scared of being completely on my own, with all my friends hundreds of miles away.
As much as I want my life to begin and stuff, I'm completely terrified of going out into the world [How sad is it that my 'world' is Fresno?] alone.
Oh well, I'll get over it.
I'm really not as depressed as this sounds. I'm having a lot of fun, I just don't want the Summer to end and for school to begin.

Hey everyone! I haven't seen or heard from people in a while, so I thought I would post. I actually have time. Well, not really, I'm at work, taking a break, 5 minutes too long, I think. So how is everyone? What has everyone been doing? Obviously Katie has been doing the whole camp thing, and really hard to get ahold of these past few weeks. Not cool. Oh, well, hope you and everyone has been having a good summer.

I haven't been doing much. Just working. I am happy to say that I have been doing some traveling, not as extensive as Gina, though. I went to Hawaii from June 25 to July 3, went to LA on July 13 and 14, and I will be heading off to Massachusetts tonight. My mom has free airfare for the family, so we've been taking weekend trips because my parents have a hard time getting time off. I am really excited to go to the east coast, but I'm afraid that our whole family is totally going to stand out. I just got back from Hawaii and the Solano County Fair, and I am DARK!!! Anyhow, I hope that I can go to other places this summer too.

Well, unfortunately, I took too long eating, leaving me with a mere 5 minutes to recap the last two months of my life. Not gonna happen. I'll get more into detail about my life (not that anyone really cares) later. Maybe. You know me, I always say that I'm gonna blog, but do I? Oh well. Hope everyone is having a good summer, and that you have a good rest of the summer. Hope to see you all soon before we leave to college. ( *tear)

Please, someone do a whole recap thing re: the Warped Tour. I'm too tired. Basically, it was fun. That'd be cool if someone felt like typing it all up. Hint, hint.
I've been sucked into the blackhole that is camp all week. Sorry if I don't see any of you.

Once again, camp has commenced. I'm really trying to not let it run my life this week. I have the oldest campers at camp [nine soon-to-be sixth graders, and two soon-to-be seventh graders.] Having this group of kids has only cemented in my head the fact that I want to teach somewhere in the range of 3rd to 5th grade. These sixth graders are crap. They're all around okay kids, but with attitudes the size of Texas. And all they want to do is sing Nelly and Eminem, which would be alright any other place, but, here, at camp, singing "It's getting hot in 'herre', so take off all your clothes" is just inappropriate with little five-year-olds running around nearby. Other than that, they've been pretty okay. I just don't want to be teaching kids like this for the rest of my life. I'll stick with the cute little 7 year olds any day.
I went to see The Bourne Identity on Sunday. It was a pretty good movie, actually. An, all around good time.
I gotta get to bed earlier, it's hard to wake up at 7. And tomorrow, I have to get up at 6 because the paid staff is meeting at Val's at 7:15 in the morning. So yes, I'm off to bed, hopefully by 11:30 [after The Simpsons, of course.]
That is all.

Anyone up for something tonight? Bowling? Movie?? I want to do something now that we are reunited [I am now singing, "Reunited and it feels so good.."] due to Gina's return to North America.
Call me if you're interested.

Is anyone else not seeing the authors of the posts? As in, it says the time and then the word "writes", with no author name or anything. Or am I alone in that boat? Or am I just horribly confusing the masses?
